Sizing & Guides

Everything you need to get the fit and the design right — size charts, made-to-measure instructions, design rules, templates and technical brochures.

Find your size

Marina suits come in standard sizes or fully made to measure. Most drivers fit a standard size — start there. Measure directly on your body with a tailor's tape in centimeters, neither loose nor tight, and if you're between two sizes, take the larger one.

Underwear and teamwear use their own size tables — you'll find the size selector with measurements on each product page before you confirm your design.

Made to measure

A made-to-measure suit is cut to your exact body measurements and checked by Marina's pattern makers before production. Here's how to get it right.

  1. Don't measure yourself. Have someone measure you with a flexible tailor's tape, in centimeters. Stand straight, wear thin fitted clothing or fireproof underwear, and don't add any allowance — the factory handles fit tolerances. Karting drivers: take your measurements wearing your rib protector, and note that on the form.
  2. Record all 14 measurements on the tailor-made size form — shoulder, sleeve, chest and ribs, waist, hip, torso, legs and more, each with an illustration showing exactly where to measure. Choose your fit: slim, regular, or loose for karting. Download the tailor-made size form (PDF). You can also use Marina's guided online tool at marinaracewear.com/en/measures.
  3. Submit with your design. Select the made-to-measure option in the customizer, or email your completed form to info@m2racewear.com with your order. Marina's modelers review every measurement set and will flag anything that looks off before the suit is cut.

Watch before you measure. Each clip above is Marina's official demonstration for that measurement — select one from the list and it plays with the exact instructions their pattern makers work from.

Design guide

Two ways to design: start from a template in the customizer, or go fully custom from a blank canvas. Either way, a few rules keep your design print-perfect.

TEMPLATE DESIGNS

Customize a template

Pick any design from our catalog and hit Customize. Change every color and drag and drop text, flags, and your own logos. When you're happy, press Send Design and it comes straight to us for quoting.

FULL CUSTOM

Design from scratch

Choose a Custom Design product and build your artwork on the official pattern template — join the main pieces, design across them, then use clipping masks to fit the artwork inside each panel. Suit design guide (PDF)

COLORS

Color rules

Specify colors from the Marina color chart or as Pantone codes — CMYK and Pantone reproduce accurately in sublimation, RGB values don't. The full 43-color chart, from Pearl Grey to Reflex Blue, is in the design guide.

LOGOS

Logo rules

All logos and illustrations must be vectorized (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG) — no low-resolution bitmaps. Place logos freely, but they can't cross the lateral seam lines, and the Marina logos on the suit can't be replaced.

Not sure about your artwork? Every design that reaches us is checked before we invoice. If something looks off — resolution, placement, colors — we'll contact you and sort it out before anything goes to production. Or email your ideas first: info@m2racewear.com.
